COMPLAINT : Raiseing rent without proper notification, Not repairing damage

  1. To get out of the apartment without losing deposit
  2. Not be pressured into new lease with raised rent.

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

When going into the office of managers they were to busy to talk to me about my lease. This was four days before lease was up, and one of the managers gave me verbal notification that my rent would be going up fity dollars. She tells me that she has not even sent out the paper work for new lease. When asked if that was illegal her response was that she does not know. Then I go back two days later and give them a written notice of my 30 days to vacate the property. The only person that would sign the notice was the front desk woman. The apartment managers were refusing to talk to me about my lease. And repairs of apartment is being put off and I am worried that they will take it out of my deposit, and I have pictures of apartment before move in.
