Fair Resolution according to renter :
  1. To pay for the extermination of Apartment 208
  2. To make sure the problem didn't go to anyone else apartment so the problem stays away
  3. Show proof that an exermination company was here with a copy of the bill

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

Contacted the landlord about the problem. She told me that I would be responsible for paying for the exterminator. I learned that bed bugs are considered â??parasites" and that can be considered an unsafe place of living. And The landlord is responsible for keeping this place for habitation of living. I called her on Thursday and told her about the problem. I tried her suggestion of spraying chemicals and it didn't stop the problem. She already said it would be my responsibility to pay for an exterminator. I believe this is landlord responsibility. No one can say whether I brought them in or they coming in from somewhere else.

Renter Feb 16, 2011 129.54.8.45 I recieved notice that the Extermantor will be performing the extermination Thursday 17 Feb 11. Notice was left underneath my apartment door, and Landlord called me on Tuesday 15 Feb 11 letting me know what to do. Exterminator requested me to be there when they show up. I will be there. Letter also stated they will be checking nieghboring apartments. I contacted the people across the hall and they said they got no notice that an exterminator will be entering there apartment to check to see if they have bed bugs as well. I am still requesting that all apartments to be looked at in the building of 313 Wilson Mills Rd, Chardon Ohio. The fact that i requesting the whole building is because eggs can fall from any where and they can roam the halls into any apartment. The letter stated they are taking a pro active measure, but if they don't notify any others then i don't think they are looking at other residents.

Renter Feb 15, 2011 129.54.8.45 I dropped two bugs off at the leasing office for the landloard to give to the exterminator. This drop was made on Sunday. Waiting for the results and what they do next to correct the issue.

The landlord is asking for the tenant to make arrangements with the leasing office to drop off speciman for sampling.
