COMPLAINT : complaint seeking resolution of false noise complaint made against myself

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

I believe my neighbor has filed a false complaint against me for normal noise levels that is causing me burden, stress, and impeding my own quiet enjoyment rights. I was first contacted by the "Assistant Community Manager" - Mr. Bryce Gloppen at 3:52pm, 8/30/2011 about a noise complaint on behalf of a neighboring tenant who has alleged "they have observed loud music coming from [my] apartment at late hours of the night." I replied to his email to further discuss the matter leaving my contact information, email and phone number. I have received no response as of 6:05pm, 8/30/2011, past normal office hours. I do not know the neighbor who has contacted the apartment complex, and have no further details about the matter. The police have not been involved, and I have never been visited by the police prior at this current residence for any such matter. I believe the noise levels were nill or reasonable and want to document this fact for the record. Mr. Bryce Gloppen has been most courteous in his attempt to discuss/resolve the matter, and I will work amicably with him and any renting neighbor in doing so.

Landlord Sep 19, 2011 67.139.95.10 After receiving Brian's email Bryce called the resident to discuss the noise issue. Bryce had a recording from the complaining neighbor that showed loud music/tv coming from Brian's apartment. After discussing with Brian what was on the tape, Brian admitted that he watched movies late at night and that the noise level could have been too loud. Brian agreed that he would be watchful of the noise level. Bryce relayed the information to the complaining neighbor and considered the issue resolved. Cedars of Edina considers this issue to be resolved unless further complaints between the residents arises.
