COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

I moved into the unit in october of 2011. The apartment manager failed to inform me of any past or present pest issues. After the first night I noticed the bed bugs. I informed management and he did not seem surprised. A professional pest control company did come do an inspection and several treatments however the pests will not go away. I have asked to terminate the lease early or to sublet. I was denied the option to sublet and informed that early termination of my lease will be permitted but with a penalty fee of 1.5 months rent.
