COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

In February 2012, my roommate Marcus his bed into common laundry room. This common room has an exit door which serves as my primary exit and entry to my home . to get to my door I had to squeeze past this mattress. It remained there for one day. Marcus did not notify me or our Landlord of his discovery of bedbugs in his room. This was of course why the bed was moved. I overheard Marcus's girlfriend advising him that the bed bugs biting her cause severe reactions. I confronted Marcus and he said "problem's solved, I fixed it" in late Feb 2012 I had swelling painful bites which I mistook as spider bites. I then saw a bed bug in the bathroom. I realized I was being bitten by these, and that I have a severe ALLERGIC reaction to them. On March 3rd 2012, I found an empty can of Kmart Bed Bug spray amongst the shared cleaning products in our kitched closet. March 19th, I told landlord in person that we had bed bugs . I said casually treating this without professional help can only worsen the problem. He made it clear that he felt no responsibility or financial obligation. He blamed us. Often when issues are brought to Winston , he gets animated, aggressive, hostile and defensive. I said I was going to inform all tenants of this problem and warn them that we need to be careful in our approach and work together to eradicate this parasite. At the end of April 2012 Winston finally scheduled a rep to assess the house from Orkin. Found live bed bugs in Marcus's bed, none in mine but I am being eaten alive each night regardless, and as I took notes and asked the Orkin rep questions, Winston ,grew more violently angry screamed threats and in my face, and prevented me from getting questions answered such as "who's liable for the cost in damages? " He fully obstructed my ability to give Orkin Rep details . He interrupts us and physically stands between us screaming at me to silence and intimidate me. I retreated in fear of getting hurt. I received a letter saying I'm to vacate in 60 days , he is selling the house. I asked if the upper tenant got a similar notice and she said she did not . (Only lower unit got this notice, not the upper unit, as of 5.18.12)
