COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

House was spotless spent 3 days cleaning, knew that landlord would come up with something, so spent additional time mopping ceiling, bleach mopping kitchen and entire bathroom, ect. One of landlpords employees did final walk through and commented that it was one of the cleanest rentals they had ever had returned. I agree to the lawn care (excessive at $215), 2 drip pans for $6.28, and a lithium battery for $8.49. Landlord did a walk through 3 weeks before we moved and everything was O.K. He asked about a blind that was already broke when we moved in and Rick agreed. These other charges are fake, at the very least may be considered normal wear & tear, but I am not even agreeing to that as the entire place was cleaner and in better repair than when I moved in. Landlord has sent me a letter saying that he is keeping $962.46, there was no check included for the $387.54. I called him and he said that the check was sent seperately and had been returned due to an incorrect address. Letter he sent was dated 10.30.12, and post marked 10.31.12. We vacated the property on 10.4.12 as requested.
