COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

I have lived here for approx. eight years. a neighbor who shares an showing wall became infested with bed bugs and just walked away. The problem was then treated in that unit only. I was never notified for prevention. The only bedroom of four that shares a common wall was the source if the infestation in my apartment. I was told it was my fault I had to pay for treatment or be evicted with my four children and infested furniture . Imagine the ones who take that option and continue to spread the issue to new communities. after refusing to pay they relented and are having my apartment treated while I live here. My children are elsewhere as they are highly allergic to the bites and mist likely the treatment. I have no idea what to do with my remaining possessions other than the conflicting info I get on the Internet when I have time. I do work full time, Isaiah my adult sin works part time and goes to college full time. We are trying to live here because we have no alternative at the moment. And I do not think I can responsibly move until the treatment is finished. I was told by a pest control company that if I do not move and the entire bldg is not treated that they will come back in ninety days. I believe that this type of irresponsible handling and lack of tennet awareness and education is fostering the epidemic proportions that we are seeing! I just need help in responsibly vacating with the money that has been committed to me the home program. I do have a contract on a home to buy. Most I want my children back and I want to be able to provide a safe place to live. My rent us paid , I'm never late with the exception of this minth because my church paid the rent so I would have the money for the expenses if dealing with this issue which I have all receipts for and documents and pictures. Si I am about to pay another months rent for an apartment my children and I can not safely live in. I have great credit and I am not about to let this ruin our future and dream if having our own home. That's why I have not just walked out of this heartbreaking situation!
