COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

Since the time of move in my family has been over run with bug infestation(spiders, mosquitoes, ants). The unit is uninhabitable and we have had little success going through the apartments complaint and maintenance request protocols. July 2nd we gave birth to a baby boy who is now being snacked on as well by the critters.This is of great concern to us due to his young age and frail immune system. Most recently we have taken on an ant hill about as big around as a truck tire and over 1 foot high. These insects have also made their way into our home. They are now in all our furniture as well as our children's cloths and toys. We simply don't know what to do and as of tonight 13 August, we have taken up residence in a local hotel. The apartment manager is absolutely no help and tells us that this is Louisiana and bugs are part of the deal. My wife is from Louisiana and I have been here a long time. We are very aware of the indigenous bugs but have never before had to share our home with critters on this level. Please help us or point us in the direction of someone who can if at all possible. Thanks in advance.

The RPA has made beyond reasonable efforts to work with the Landlord / Manger to find a resolution to the complaint. Management has refused all reasonable measures to resolve this complaint. Due to the unwillingness from management , the RPA has no choice but to close this case with a negative disposition. Case Closed.
